This is an institution run by a team of sports loving people with the aid of highly professional coaches both in games& Athletics

Its sole aim is to discover unknown talented athletes in this region in their early childhood itself and train them to national and international levels and make them the pride of the nation. The Academy registered as a charitable society under Society’s Act was inaugurated on 13th September 2003 in the presence of dignitaries like Fr.George Paruthappara  the then MLA Sri C.Moinkutty, MLA U.C Raman and a large crowd of atheletes  and sports personnels.

The region of Pullurampara being situated in a rainy area almost raining 6 months from June to December and the summer being very hot  theAcademy planned to build an indoor stadium,and with this intention we have bought some land near the school premises. Now with an intense effort by the MLA Sri George M Thomas the Sports Council of Kerala has allotted over Rs50 lakhs for the initial expenses of constructing the stadium in the current budget year. The stadium is named after late Sri Mathai Chacko who had great aspirations for the sports development of the region.

There will be a full pledged basket-ball court , a volley-ball court and three shuttle courts with a gallery in the stadium. Besides that , there will be a conference hall ,health club, hostel acilties, sports library,and several office rooms. Pullurampara and its surrounding villages is a land of scenic beauties with beautiful rivers, water-falls and steep and rocky mountains and this will become  a ‘heaven’ for the tourists.  Therefore the academy is planning water sports.sports tourism, mountaineering and hiking.and homestay dormitories will be constructed in the complex for the tourists.The sports Complex will become useful to 10 Panchayats surrounding the area.
